Webcast: Wilson Center & Water, Peace, and Security: New Tools for a New Climate

To kick off the webcast series, the Wilson Center collaborating with the Water, Peace and Security (WPS) partnership to feature transdisciplinary approaches to prevent water-related security risks. Join the livestream, or in person if you are in Washington DC on 6 December, for a high-level event featuring transdisciplinary approaches to preventing water-related security risks.
Every day, the headlines make it clear: A rapidly changing climate and shifting demographics means the future of water resource management may not look like the past. Without tackling water insecurity, we cannot address the myriad challenges that stand in the way of building healthy, prosperous, and peaceful communities. At the event WPS will celebrate its third anniversary by launching a new improved global early warning tool for water conflict. The Wilson Centre and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) will launch their new framework to improve predictive capabilities for climate security risks.
