Fight with Care: Documentary Screening & Discussion

Join us on 14 September, 16:00 for a screening of 'Fight with Care', a documentary by Bhargav Prasad & Ain Contractor, selected for the All Living Things Environmental Film Festival, 2023. It showcases unheard voices of indigenous fisherwomen from India campaigning against increasing encroachments on coastal wetlands from expanding ports, thermal power plants and industrial infrastructure. This film highlights the power of visual storytelling to spark critical discussions on care, environmental justice, gender justice, coastal resilience and wetland conservation. The screening will be followed by an interdisciplinary discussion with one of the film-makers and IHE Delft Alumna, Ain Contractor, moderated by Prof. Margreet Zwarteveen, Department of Water Governance, IHE Delft.
