Remco Rijn is the Finance Manager of the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education. He oversees all finance matters, such as management and financial accounting, management and statutory reporting, as well as contacts with banks, tax authorities and auditors. He heads the Finance unit, which has seven staff members.
He obtained a degree in business administration at Nijenrode University (BBA), business economics (Drs. / MSc) at the Erasmus University and post-graduate studies at the Maastricht University (Executive Master in Finance & Control, EMFC, or Dutch ‘Register Controller’,RC). Prior working for IHE Delft, he held finance functions at Philips, Shell, NS and Atradius, and a senior business consulting role at KPMG.
Remco lives in Delft with his partner and loves everything that is connected with the sea!
