IHE Delft collaborates with ZDHC on its mission to reduce the textile, apparel, and footwear industries chemical footprint

Signing of the cooperation agreement at IHE Delft

The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Roadmap to Zero Programme and IHE Delft signed an agreement that formalizes the cooperation on wastewater and effluent treatment education. The ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme aims to reduce the chemical footprint in the textile, apparel, and footwear industries.

We plan to collaborate on training, building capacity, funding education, and innovating technology. With this collaboration, The ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme and IHE Delft aim to create a strong network of like-minded organisations that can exchange technical expertise and support developments around the world.

IHE Delft Rector Eddy Moors, Head of Department, Peter Van der Steen, Associate professor Wastewater Treatment Technology, Carlos M. Lopez Vazquez and, on behalf of the ZDHC Foundation, Executive Director Frank Michel & Senior Implementation Manager Mariella Noto, gathered for this special moment at IHE Delft.
