Heritage days/ Open Monumentendag
IHE Delft will take part in the annual Heritage Days (Monumentendag), a nation-wide event during which some of the buildings classified as monuments open their doors to the public. IHE Delft will open the doors on Oude Delft 95 and offer access to the Prinsenkamer and another period room.
Parts or IHE Delft are housed in a patrician house that was built on the location of a brewery. The building has also been used as a military hospital, and it housed the predecessor of what today is Delft Technical University. The period rooms accessible during the Heritage Days were restored from 1990 to 1992. Visitors can also admire a historic stained-glass window.
